Managed HR and payroll services in Bangladesh

Nexus Payroll provides managed HR and payroll services in Bangladesh for foreign companies: contractor management, managed remote teams, offshore development centers, global capability centers and employee benefits administration — employed, housed and run from Dhaka under one agreement.

What are managed HR and payroll services in Bangladesh?

Managed HR and payroll services in Bangladesh are arrangements in which a local provider employs, pays and administers a foreign company's Bangladesh workforce — contractors, remote teams or entire delivery centers — and takes operational responsibility for workspace, equipment, HR processes and statutory compliance, while the client directs the work and owns the output.

The five services on this page sit on the same foundation as our Employer of Record: a Bangladesh-law employment or services contract with Nexus Payroll Limited, monthly BDT payroll with NBR withholding, Provident Fund and gratuity administration under the Bangladesh Labour Act 2006, and a named account manager in Dhaka. What changes is how much of the operating layer we take on — from paying a single contractor to running a 60-seat engineering center with its own office.

Which managed service fits your situation?

Choose contractor management for project-based specialists, managed remote teams for three or more employees needing local HR operations, an offshore development center for a dedicated engineering unit with its own office, a global capability center when you plan to own the operation within two years, and benefits administration when you already employ staff.

How do the five managed services compare?

All five are delivered by the same Dhaka team under one service agreement; they differ in who is employed, whether Nexus provides workspace and IT, whether a team lead is included, the minimum size, and the fee model — per contractor, per seat, or a set-up fee plus per-seat operating charge for a capability center that transfers to you.

Managed services FAQ

What is the difference between managed services and an Employer of Record?

An Employer of Record employs individual people you have already chosen; a managed service adds delivery responsibility on top of employment. With managed remote teams, an ODC or a GCC, Nexus Payroll also provides the workspace, IT, team lead, HR operations and reporting, and is accountable for the team functioning as a unit, not only for each contract being compliant.

Can we mix managed services with our own entity?

Yes. Every managed service can run under Nexus employment (no entity needed) or under your Bangladesh entity with Nexus as the operator. Companies commonly start with an ODC employed by Nexus and transfer the team to their own subsidiary later under the GCC build-operate-transfer model, with continuity of service preserved.

How big does a team need to be for a managed service?

Contractor management and benefits administration start from one person; managed remote teams from three; an ODC from 8 seats; a GCC is normally planned at 25 seats or more. Below those sizes the standard EOR service is the better fit and we will say so.
